Choose a path
A published Learning Path describes its subject, difficulty, estimated time and any prerequisites before listing the Guides in the recommended order. Paths can cover subjects such as visual observing, astrophotography, equipment or science as suitable material is published.
Required and optional steps
Some Guide steps can be required for completion while others are optional enrichment. Read the step note as well as the linked Guide when a curator has added context about why that material appears at that point in the path.
Record your progress
Use the progress control when you complete a step. Astro Corner calculates progress from the path structure and keeps that progress with your account.
Learning progress is personal. It is not used as a public leaderboard, popularity score or requirement to participate elsewhere on the platform.

A Learning Path is curated and ordered by the platform; a normal Guide collection is a more general grouping that a member/community can use for a reference set or series. The same Guide can remain useful in both contexts without being duplicated.
