Astronomy Statistics summarise records you have already created in Astro Corner. They are designed to help you understand your own astronomy over time, not compare your activity score with other members.
Choose a year
Use the year selector to look back at a particular observing/imaging year. Available summaries can include observing nights, observing hours, observations, unique objects, monthly activity, object types and imaging/capture information that exists in your records.
A number can only be as complete as the history recorded in Astro Corner, so missing old sessions should be read as missing data rather than zero astronomy.
Imaging and capture statistics
Where capture/import data exists, Statistics can summarise integration time, filters, frame acceptance/rejection and other supported capture information. Imported records continue to preserve their source context rather than pretending every number was entered manually.
My Astronomy Year
The yearly recap turns the same underlying data into a more readable “My Astronomy Year” summary: a personal retrospective on nights, observations, objects and imaging activity.
It is intentionally celebratory without XP, streak pressure or global ranking.
Public statistics and share cards
Public Statistics and public yearly recap are opt-in choices where offered. If enabled, Astro Corner can provide a public page and a generated share card suitable for linking outside the site.
Turning one public option on does not automatically make unrelated private observations, precise locations or other restricted records public.
